Born into a humble farming family in a small village of Andhra Pradesh, Dr. Manoj Tummala journey stands as a testament to perseverance, compassion and purpose. From his early days, he witnessed the struggles of limited medical access in rural communities—a reality that instilled in him a lifelong commitment to bring world-class healthcare closer to people from all walks of life.

Dr. Manoj Tummala completed his MBBS from Pinnameneni Siddhartha Medical College, followed by MS (General Surgery) from Sri Ramachandra Medical College, Chennai. His unrelenting dedication and academic excellence earned him a Gold Medal in MCh (Urology) from SRM University in 2019—a milestone that marked the beginning of his distinguished journey in urological sciences.

A deeply personal loss—the passing of his father to cancer—became the defining moment that shaped his calling. With a profound sense of purpose, Dr. Manoj chose to specialize in Uro-Oncology, determined to fight the disease that took away his inspiration. He went on to pursue a Fellowship in Uro-Oncology and Robotic Surgery at the prestigious Tata Memorial Hospital, Mumbai, one of the most respected cancer centers in Asia.

Over the following years, Dr. Manoj served as a Consultant in Uro-Oncology and Robotic Surgery at Chennai Urology and Robotic surgery institute (CURI) leading tertiary care urology center in Chennai, where he performed numerous complex robotic and laparoscopic surgeries with exceptional precision and outcomes. His expertise spans across kidney, bladder, and prostate cancers, along with advanced management of kidney stones and prostate enlargement.

Renowned for his surgical skill and innovation, Dr. Manoj has demonstrated live “free-hand” Transperineal Prostate Biopsies—a cutting-edge, minimally invasive technique for prostate cancer detection—at several national operative workshops and medical institutes across India.
